Who are you? What is your job and how long have you been working at NSI?
My name is Anaëlle, and I’ll soon have been working for NSI for 4 years. I am a Business Consultant for the Atlassian work.
What does the role of Business Consultant comprise?
My role is to define the customers’ needs and requirements and then present the Atlassian solutions that meet their requisites. I am also in charge of setting up and implementing tools with the required configurations so that they meet the customers’ needs.
Describe your daily work at NSI in 3 words:
Collaboration, challenge, variety.
What would you say about your colleagues and your managers?
There’s a real family spirit at NSI and I love that. We can count on each other if we encounter difficulties with our tasks or to share our knowledge.
Our managers are open-minded and ready to listen, meaning that dialogue is constructive which helps us move forward.
Has your job changed since you joined NSI?
You might say that :) - I have taken an unusual path at NSI.
When I was recruited, I was in charge of monitoring tasks for the Business Unit and the purely administrative aspect for the Atlassian team (drafting offers, passing orders and invoicing).
Working directly with the Business consultants got me really interested in their work. I asked my managers whether I might be able to work in this role. NSI gave me a year to change jobs. During that year, I therefore continued to run the administrative side, but I also worked on projects as a Business Consultant.
I took two Atlassian certificates to validate this change of position. Right now, I am officially a full-time Atlassian Business Consultant.
NSI allows employees to grow and does not chain them to a well-defined role; that’s a great quality for a company. If there’s a will, there’s a way at NSI.
Which of NSI’s values do you identify with most, and why?
Customer satisfaction
A well-run project brings satisfaction for the customer, for the team and also represents personal achievement. For me, it’s essential that all the projects I work on go well and that our customers are always happy with our service provision and our availability.
How did lockdown change your working life?
Lockdown gave me the chance to devise and run webinars to present Atlassian products.
