Originally from Liège, Delphine Thirifays has recently made headlines in Belgian for her many sporting achievements, on her bike and on her own feet. Now living in the Belgian town of Chaudfontaine, she won two amateur long-distance duathlon world titles in 2022.

Voted Liège citizen of the year, on 1 January 2023, Delphine took on a fresh challenge by turning professional. This challenge fits NSI corporate culture to perfection and so we have decided to lend her our support.

Going that extra mile is a value that NSI shares with her

It is now a tradition at NSI to support nonprofit associations such as Think Pink, Oikos or even the Red Cross. Along these lines, the company decided to support Delphine Thirifays, on new adventure that advocates going the extra mile, a value that this athlete and NSI have in common. Delphine echoed this in an interview she gave to the Sudinfo newspaper.

"I feel the need to leave my comfort zone and get to know myself better. Sport has brought me so much during my life, both physically and emotionally."

Milestones in this challenge!

The champion has a busy schedule ahead of her. NSI will regularly share the various stages of her preparation and her progress towards the professional category.
