Emilie Lovato, I’m 36 years old, and I am a Project Manager within the Infrastructure Business Unit.

What exactly does a Project Manager do?

The infrastructure project manager’s role is to complete a project while balancing rates, deadlines and quality.

My missions:

  • Coordinate the different project stages;
  • Run the project planning, from kick-off to delivery;
  • Guarantee that the budget and deadlines are met;
  • Be the sole point of contact between the customer and the technical teams;
  • Lead work meetings;
  • Make sure that the customer is satisfied throughout the project.

Describe your daily work at NSI in 3 words

Challenge, acknowledgement and peer-support.

How would you describe the working atmosphere at NSI?

A company with a welcoming, family feel. You’re never alone, there’s always a colleague or a manager around to support you, assist you, listen to you and help you grow. The management trusts us which, in my book, is a great workplace motivator. It’s routine to work in a happy atmosphere at NSI; it’s a feel-good place 😊

What would you say about your colleagues and your managers?

My colleagues and my managers are very available, always ready to listen and kind. We are a family at NSI, and you really feel that; helping each other and sharing are an integral part of the company culture. Irrespective of the workload, people are always more important.

What do you like most about NSI?

It’s a human company that helps us to develop according to our ambitions. Respect, kindness, acknowledgement and professional fulfilment are at the heart of NSI’s concerns. Regardless of your level of responsibility, people don’t treat you differently. We always feel supported, backed up, listened to and understood.

"The purpose of an organization is to enable ordinary human beings to do extraordinary things" - Peter Drucker

We have many challenges; each day is different. Daily sharing with customers and suppliers makes our work more rewarding, and it’s always in a light-hearted atmosphere.

Among NSI’s values, which inspires you the most or which do you identify with, and why?

Customer Satisfaction

For me, customer satisfaction is the name of the game.

Nowadays, it is important to remember that our competitors are just a mouse click behind us. That shows how essential service quality is, as it can make all the difference.

Let’s not forget that there’s no company without customers. Their satisfaction is therefore my top priority.
